Polishing / Polish vacuuming (HS and US)

Polishing, equalising and condensing of waxed, coated or oiled floor coverings with the polishing pad or the polishing brush using the single-brush machine HS or US. Suitable for smooth floor coverings. Polish vacuuming will simultaneously remove any resulting dust.

Preparatory work

Select suitable products to match the surface to be cleaned (type / square metres) and the type of soiling.
Check, equip and ready the machine and all accessories in compliance with the instructions for use.
Mount the suction unit and the suction ring on the single-brush machine for polish vacuuming.
Put up the warning sign.
Remove any loose dirt (dust-binding mopping).
Remove stubborn soiling as needed (wet mopping or scrub drying).

Main task

HS:Attach the HS polishing pad with the HS pad drive disc or the polishing brush to the HS single-brush machine. Switch the machine on briefly. The connection must audibly click into place.
US:Attach the US polishing pad to the pad drive disc of the US single-brush machine.
Set the correct height for the upright handle.
HS polishing: Working in circles with the HS single-brush machine and the HS polishing pad or the polishing brush, polish the open area until all scuff marks are removed and the desired shine is achieved.
US polishing: Working in circles with the US single-brush machine and the US polishing pad in overlapping passes from right to left, polish or polish vacuum the open area until all scuff marks are removed and the desired shine is achieved.
Polish the corners and edges with the white pad either manually or with the machine.
Reverse or replace the pad when it gets dirty; continue with step 1 of the main task until the entire area is polished.
Remove any loose dirt (dust-binding mopping).
Perform a visual check.

Final steps

Check the fill level of the filter bag on the suction unit; change the bag if it is full.

Check the power cable for visible damage, clean the cable and roll it up loosely towards the plug.

Remove the warning sign.

Dry vacuum used pads or brushes, rinse them with water or wash them in the washing machine.

Dispose of any waste.

Clean the cleaning equipment and replace as needed.
